Our objective here was to completely remodel a dilapidated 2-story Garage|Pool House, and in its place to erect an updated Pool House | Art Studio & Library for soon-to-be-retired attorney who was looking forward to developing his artistic skills on the easel and canvas – and enjoy his beloved Library on the Lower Level. Upper Level designed to double as Pool House | Guest House. Entertaining deck outfittted to be maintenance -free and provide gracious transition from pool deck to pool house. Contemporary design and light-filled rooms were important to the owner’s overall satisfaction.
We retained only a portion of the original footings, foundation walls and concrete floor on this 2-story structure. The Upper Level operates as the Pool House | Guest House with entertaining area, dining area, full bath, sleeping quarters, comfortable seating and private covered deck. Large multi-slide doors open to pool, deck, BBQ area and multiple garden settings. Large windows and corner views bring in the light and offer views of natural wooded landscape. The Lower Level provides owners retreat to Art Studio & Library and lower level garden setting.
